When I wake to the touch of your skin,
        My mind learns to smile again,

        I wish only to stay in the embrace.

A life-time together couldn’t be enough,
        I’ll find a way to make this last,
A life-time together isn’t nearly enough,
        When I awake, I’ll wake you too.

When I’m alone,
        Dreams of you fill my mind,
When I’m alone,
        I can still feel your touch against my skin.

A dream is nothing like the real thing,
        This is much more then simple love,
A dream is nothing like the real thing,
        One day together we will stay.

Another fight about what’s to be,
        Another chance for us to make up,
Another fight about what’s to be,
        This is proof that we really want to be with the other.

Come into my waiting arms,
        Come and embrace me as I rest my tired mind,
You help me rest,
        You teach me to sleep when the night hours drag on.

I love you more then all the love that has existed so far,
        I care for you more then the angels love their lords,
All that matters to me is that you are holding me tonight,
        All I care for is that you’ll be in my dream when I break.

This is long over due,
        And I’m sorry that I’ve fallen so far,
So please help me stand,
        Then I’ll teach you to sore once more.
